Spherion Hosts Annual Half-Marathon And 5K Run

MANSFIELD, OH- Saturday, September 9 was the 3rd annual Spherion Mid Ohio 13ER.

Runners could participate in the 13-mile half-marathon or a 5K race. There were also mini races for kids, a bounce house, vendors, and a rock climbing wall brought by the Army.

All proceeds from the event were donated to local organizations fighting for drug prevention and treatment.

Three years ago, the organization's founder, Tim Hilterman, saw the need in the community for drug abuse awareness and started this annual race to raise funds.

Each year they have raised over $50,000.
